IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A MORE EFFICIENT WEBSITE, I HAVE CREATED A SEPARATE "HERBAL DESCRIPTIONS" PAGE THAT INCLUDES HISTORICAL, FOLKLORE AND MODERN USES FOR HERBAL REMEDIES. JUST FOLLOW THIS LINK. Please note: 2 and 4 ounce bottles come with glass dropper; 8 ounce container styles may vary and do not come with any dropper. All CMH herbs are ethically gathered at peak potency. Any herbs that are purchased by CMH are done so from highly reputable herbal businesses or harvesters. Many are wild-crafted locally with care. Herbs are 100% pure, free of pesticides and herbicides, and are not fumigated or irradiated. The herbs used are non-GMO. Not all herbs are available in the United States and, therefore, must be obtained from overseas. In these cases, all herbs are purchased from highly reputable companies that test their products to ensure potency, quality and safety; that there are no chemicals, pesticides or heavy metals; microbiological tests are performed on every batch of finished product that comes from the Orient, followed by a third party lab testing to ensure that the herbs meet all quality and safety standards in both their country and the United States. To ensure potency and freshness, all products are hand-crafted, on-site and in limited quantities. RATIOS - Herb to Menstruum: Dried Leaf/Flower ratios are 1:1; Dried Root/Bark ratios are 1:2. |

Philosophy of Healing by Matthew Wood "Holistic medicine consists in the treatment of the spirit, Herbalism, in order to be holistic, must "Holistic medicine consists in the treatment of the spirit, soul, and body. Herbalism, in order to be holistic, must entertain the possibility that there is a spiritual side to the plant as well as a material side. This leads us to the even greater possibility that Nature as a whole is a living, spiritual being." |
. . I received the following email from a customer today (11/17/15). I wanted to share it with you. "Ms. Lavoie, I'm writing to thank you for the quality of your Agrimony tincture. My order arrived yesterday afternoon (and thanks for the excellent packaging -- it would have taken a bomb to break *that* puppy!). I've been using it ever since (topically and internally) on a skin wound infected with both staph and pseudomonas. Note that I have made lots of progress with other herbal antibacterials (e.g., Oregon Grape root, Alder bark, alchornea, cryptolepis, St John's Wort) and astringents (primarily wormwood) and immune supports. However, the changes in and to the wound since your tincture are eye-popping: virtually no exudate, pores shrunk/closed, massive skin normalization, reduced swelling -- and that's after less than 24 hours! Because of this wound, I've started teaching myself about some herbs useful for staph and pseudomonas infections, and how to prepare them. Thanks again for your great work. I feel fortunate to have been led to your site -- and to have purchased this great product on sale, as well. My best to you, and yours, ~ Angela" |
I received an email from a customer today (2/26/14). I wanted to share it with you. "Hi, Just wanted to briefly tell you about my early impressions of the effectiveness of the Sweet Annie extract you sent me. First, I am not as such a person who has put a lot of stock in herbal remedies. Not a disbeliever either, just haven't put much thought into it. But my arthritis has been so bad this winter (the worst it has ever been), I thought I had to do something, and didn't want to go the route of pharmaceuticals. I read somewhere that sweet annie might have some effect on arthritis among other things, and on a whim I decided to try it. In short, within two or three days of starting to use your sweet annie extract twice a day, the arthritis pain I had been experiencing simply went away - entirely. I think. If it's psychosomatic, so be it, except that I entered the experiment with an attitude of "Well, we'll just see." So, thanks. We will see how things go, but so far it is two thumbs up for me... - Brad James" |
